Wanna know how I counteract the bleak UK winter? Ramp up colour and prints. After my recent Bahamas holiday, I’m all over decadent blooms for myself and Lolo. One of the must-go destinations for stand out florals has to be Ted Baker, who have, for the very first time, put its its mum and mini inspired Ted Baker Kids collection on its website.
Default colours in winter are black, grey, navy and ooh a bit of brown, if you really want something different. All neutrals, which are cool, I get it, but in our world a splash of colour and sparkle makes everything right. Even more so when you’re raising a fashion-conscious 3 year old who lives in a world of unicorns, princesses, sparkles, rainbows and sass.
That’s why Ted Baker Kids is a perfect fit for her wardrobe. It’s all about those special outfits, coats and finishing touches for occasions where the little ones want to get out of the basics and into something stand out. The bows, sparkles, ruffles and prints are the key to the look and my little one is all over them.
Lolo went for this gorgeous floral black MELINO dress with a cool pleated back detail to wear with some black TOLI leggings with a sporty sparkly twist. This is the perfect look for a birthday party or fun day out doing fashwan stuff with mummy.
What i love is that we can do actual twinning, this print features in the main women’s collection or compliment each other. I love how we both pop in our florals, me in this stunning jade green bomber jacket. You can shop the Ted Baker kids’ collection for boys and girls online at www.tedbaker.com
